Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist

Synopsis

Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist is a comedy about two people thrust together for one hilarious, sleepless night of adventure in a world of mix tapes, late-night living, and live, loud music. Nick (Michael Cera) frequents New York's indie rock scene nursing a broken heart and a vague ability to play the bass. Norah (Kat Dennings) is questioning pretty much all of her assumptions about the world. Though they have nothing in common except for their taste in music, their chance encounter leads to an all-night quest to find a legendary band's secret show and ends up becoming the first date in a romance that could change both their lives.

The young stars chat about they're crazy shooting schedule from 4pm - 6am, the first all night shooting for the two. They also talk about mix tapes, their musical talents and what they would choose for their very own theme song. "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" is released today, Friday October 3rd.

    "...Or maybe the “Rocky” theme song. If they played it when I was going into a club, it would be awesome. If they played it when I was going into a library, it would be double awesome..."

Michael Cera also shares his main draw to the film, which was director Peter Sollett. "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" is out in cinemas starting tomorrow, October 3rd.

    "...he main draw was working with Peter, because I was a big fan of his, and I though the story was good, and that he would be good for it. So that was really the draw..."
